Our Group has accumulated experience of more than 15 years in composing new materials (powders, films) using methods like Magnetron DC Sputtering, Aerosol Spray Pyrolysis (home-made system), Aqueous Chemical Growth (ACG), Chemical Synthesis (sol-gel, hydrothermal, solid to solid), PLD (Pulsed Laser Deposition), and using a wide range of characterization techniques, like X-ray Diffraction, Thermal Analysis (TGA / DSC / DTA), porosity, FT-IR spectroscopy, Raman, Transmission Electron Microscopy (ΤΕΜ), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM/EDS), electrical measurements (σ, μ, Hall) and optical measurements (UV-VIS-NIR).
